The role is responsible for coordinating information, communications, records, and routine processes, while supporting marketing campaigns, partner engagement activities, and day-to-day office operations. As the role includes responsibility for the effective running of the office and supporting colleagues onsite, regular office attendance is required.

Editorial Assistant

We are looking for an Editorial Assistant to join our Editorial department and support the successful delivery of our publishing programme. The role will support both a Senior Commissioning Editor, and a Commissioning Editor. Working closely with them, authors, and colleagues across the business, the Editorial Assistant will help manage publishing projects from proposal through to publication. Responsibilities include supporting peer review and project scheduling, preparing contracts, maintaining title records, manuscript and publication preparation, and acting as a key point of contact for authors. The role is preferably based in our Martlesham office, with hybrid working available and with remote working considered in exceptional circumstances.
